National Jazz Festival, Tauranga -
Saturday 19th April 2014 You can't let a little rain stop the fun! Kokomo's 2 ¼ hour set at the National Jazz Festival was cut short after just half an hour when the promised thunder storm arrived and left the Coast Stage on the Strand under an inch of water. New song “Waiting For a Sunny Day” seemed particularly appropriate! But, as the packed and slightly soggy crowd sheltered from the storm under awnings and brollies, the Kokomo Crew headed across the road to Brew Craft Beer Pub where they gave an impromptu unplugged performance to the delight of surprised punters. |
