As some of you may be aware, Kokomo have been off the road for a few months. The reason for this is that Derek had a heart attack in May. This came as quite a shock to the band, and everyone who knows Derek since he didn't appear to be in any of the high-risk categories (blood pressure, overweight, family history etc). It turns out that cholesterol was the culprit and the good news is that Derek is back at pretty much full strength, has given up smoking - is eating carefully (which he reports to be a real irritation) - and the band is back, going full steam ahead.
