Rotorua Blues Week
Rotorua Blues Week is on again during the first week of May and the Kokomo team will be there in force!This is heading towards becoming the National Blues Festival and was a whole bunch of fun last year, with music throughout the week at various bars and some great bands. Things kick off at the Targa Rally on the evening of 31st April with the fantastic Anton Elkington Band and the BOP Blues Revue. Throughout the week there is music, including Hot Club Sandwich, Hammond Gamble, Lil' Ian Goodsman, The Mike Garner Band and more (the Self-Righteous Brothers Blues Ensemble is playing on Friday night) and things wrap up on Saturday June 7th at the Rotorua Soundshell with a special double album release concert featuring Kokomo and Billy TK Jr. It should be a great time for everyone!
