In The Well

We're getting very close to the release of the new Kokomo album, In The Well, our take on a collection of songs written by Bob Dylan.

This has been something of a long-planned labour of love, with special contributions from guitar/mandolin/banjo virtuoso Nigel Gavin and drummer/percussionist Matt Hennessey, along with our regular Tauranga compadres Beano Gilpin (drums) and Mike Kirk (guitar). Keyboard wiz Liam Ryan also helped out on a song.

The album is currently being mastered at Colourfield Studio here in Tauranga and should be ready for release in March.

Just as a taster here's an mp3 of the opening song, "On A Night Like This", which is still unmastered, but is pretty close to final.
It's encoded at a really low rate to keep it as small as possible (for those of us with crappy NZ-speed internet connections), so it's not the best of quality.
