Lawrie came in to put the drums on before I'd added the long slide guitar solo at the end so to give him direction I dance and conducted the dynamics from the studio control room while he played and watched through the glass! Then I put on the guitar and the playing matched so well that to me it still sounds as if we were both jamming it at the same time. I was going through a "no guitar solos" phase at the time and that's about the only show-off bit on the whole album. | |
