Hi Everybody, season's greeting, we hope 2004 is treating you well so far.
Well, finally, our 4 month baby-induced sabbatical is coming to an end, and we're all looking forward to hitting the road again and doing what we enjoy most: playing music live. It's been kinda frustrating, having a new album out and a pile of new songs we want to show off, and being on "holiday".
Actually, it hasn't really been a holiday - Grant found time to contribute some fine harmonica to Li'l Ian Goodsman's latest CD (soon to be released), while Derek and Nigel have been playing on and recording some of the songs for Rotorua bluesman Mike Garner's new album. They've also been getting out and playing as a duo (affectionately dubbed "Rusty Swingfeel").
But, at last, it's time to get out and play some Kokomo tunes!
Here's a list of some upcoming gigs, where we'll be playing tunes from the new album and our usual grab-bag of old blues and other oddities. Drummer Bruce Morley, who played on "Songs Of Love And Not", will be joining us for most of these - hope we see you at one of them.

February 21st - Mission Bay Jazz & Blues Festival
February 29th - Tauranga Food & Wine Festival
March 4 / 5 / 6th - Dargaville A&P Show
March 6 / 7th - Bruntwood Jazz, Blues & Berries Charity Concert
April 10 / 11th - Montana National Jazz Festival, Tauranga
(Just to let you know, Bruntwood is between Hamilton and Cambridge, and the concert also features the Blue Bottom Stompers and Wil Sargeson. If you want further details of any of these gigs, please email us.)
